Cardinal Rule

As mentioned in an earlier post we have a lot of nature here around us. Sam called us into the living room to look out the windows at some Cardinals building their nest, We watched for about a half an hour as the male"Red bird" and the female"not so red bird" would take turns leaving and coming back with twigs and grass to make the nest.

Luckily, the bushes by the other windows provided enough materials for them so we could follow them from bush to bush, on the inside from window to window. It was so fascinating to watch, the kids loved it.

They were entranced with comments of "this is so cool""did you see that""that is awesome""there they go, do you see them""they are over here""Wow,We live in a Zoo". It is awesome. We went to the computer to find the Cardinal Call, so we could recognize it when we are outside.

The next day we saw a group of deer eating our bushes. We could watch deer forever.
