All weekend long

Jack and I both had church B-ball games on Sat. I am loving coaching the young women. They are so fun and full of life. Plus they get me excited and yelling{with the joy of b-ball not anger. I do, you know, get very excited when I coach} We won the girls game. Jack's game while better than the last,{6-48} so sad, they still lost,{33-46} much better! They had two deacons teams and they were, needless to say, not completely balanced. They changed up the teams and now at least they had a shot of scoring. Jack is improving, but I really need to get some meat on this kid. He is as skinny as all get out! Saturday night some of my friends had a girls night out birthday party for aka. Moesha, aka. Sammy, aka. Marissa and I. I love my friends here they are so awesome. We had loads of good food and fun. I will not speak of the impending future...not a word.

This is Sammy taking a bite out of my shoulder. We obviously need to feed her more.{ just smile Moesha!}

Her husband Denton rocks! He made us this killer birthday cake. All I can say is yum! And you that were not so lucky to be born on Feb. 6th...well sorry your just not as cool as Sammy, My friend Darcy in Colorado, Tom Brokaw, Ronald Reagan, A guy Jim "The Mink Man"..... It is the only day to have a birthday, really!

Tonight as we traveled to a fireside featuring 'The Five Browns' at the stake center. One couldn't help noticing the moon. It was huge. { Not as big as the time when I was babysitting and I thought the moon was a flying saucer, freaked out and called my mom, swore up and down there was something in the air over the house that I was babysitting at and would she please send Dad over to protect me , because I was scared out of my everliving head! It took a while for her to convince me that it was just the moon... I mean a long while. Can anyone say freak show?}

Anyway Claire saw the moon and was excited too. She said,"Mom, mom look at the moon it is moving." To which I replied,"No, no we are moving not the moon honey." She came back with, "I know we are moving, but the wind is blowing the moon with it's breath and the moon is moving too." How can you argue with that?
