Soccer

This is our second year doing soccer. I am not a big fan of soccer. While I realize that it is great exercise and my kids are out in the sun enjoying the beautiful VA weather, it just takes up so much time. Driving 25 min and waiting around for an hour and a half then driving another 25 min home, two times a week in the afternoon. I could be more productive and read to Blake and Claire or something along those lines. I know I am just thinking of all the school we could be doing. The kids don't seem to mind. I should just relax I guess... Kind of hard!

Curl your Tongue

Can you curl your tongue? I can't. All my boys can. We were having some contests; like who can jump the highest, who can jump the farthest, and who can hold their tongue rolled for the longest. It was so funny. I had to laugh, which they did not like. Jack likes to win every competition and Sam thought he was cheating. I know you are thinking; how can you cheat at rolling your tongue? Well, apparently you have to keep the tongue stuck all the way out ,no resting in between your lips. These are rules that I was not aware of, so I wasn't a very good judge. There was a heated debate. It got a little out of control.

Go To Bat!

Sam being the Ninja that he is.

Jack had the final word on the

pinata. He beat the heck out of a Cinderella heart pinata. Just what every 11 year old wants to do.

"Golfing with Grandparents"

We went miniature golfing with Skip's parent yesterday. The kids had a blast. Claire was so funny, she would swing her little club every which way and never hit the ball. " Mom. I can't do it, the ball won't go." she would say. ( Very Cute) Jack and Sam had the game down and did quite well, but Blake on the other hand was playing a different game, hockey, he would just push the ball everywhere til he got to the hole. He seemed pretty pleased with himself. There was stiff competition between Skip and his parents and in the end Skip came up with the win at Par. He was the one keeping score though, hm, kind of fishy.
