A friend on another blog posted this recipe for a really nutritious smoothie and for two weeks we have been having them everyday. So if we start to look a little like Violet Beauregarde {Charlie and the Chocolate Factory} you will know why.
-6 to 8 oz OJ{we used water on a couple of occasions and it tasted fine}
-1 1/2 cups of spinach or Kale { to which Blake responded "you're putting salad in my smoothie?" "Yes" I said with a smile
-1 1/2 cups of blue berries
-4to5 frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana
-1/4to1/3 flax meal
They love Them! You will too!
