One Short Day in the Emerald City

On Saturday we took the ferry over to Seattle to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the city. What can I say, if you are Claire, the ferry is much more fun with cousins. If you are Jack and Sam you pass the time by playing DS. Sorry boys, but you miss out on so much by creaking your necks down the whole time. We walked up several blocks, stopped for lunch and then hopped on the mono-rail to the science center. The girls loved the ride above the streets and so did the boys.

We love the science center and were glad to share the fun with Rich's Family.

Back to the mono-rail { the boys were able to sit right next to the driver, pretty cool} and down to Pikes Market. I tried to get a picture with all the kids, but as you can see Claire and Katie were all tuckered out. { tough being pushed around every where, just wears you down!}

After Seven hours of exploring and playing we were back on the boat for home and some fresh blackened salmon. Thanks Rich and Libby!
