Jack is bored

This is Jack. Jack is bored. Jack doesn't know what to do with himself. Jack sighs allot. Jack reads allot. Jack is tired of reading. Jack is getting assigned lots chores. Jack is tired of chores. Jack is tired of chess. Jack is over Lego's. Jack is over pretend. Jack is eleven and a half.

This summer has been fun for Jack; traveling, seeing cousins, swimming... But it is not enough for a tween. DO I HAVE A TWEEN? Jack has really no friends to do anything with. I have been working out with him. It is Okay. Soon we will go to the beach{this Fri!} Jack will be happy. This will last for one week. Any suggestions?

Can he get a pen pal? That is kind of fun. I am not sure about the email thing for his age...but writing letters the old-faahioned way to someone maybe from another country could be interesting.

Surely there is someone close to his age at church.
They don't have to be the exact age. What about Innsbrook ward? Do you know anyone from the home-school group?

How bout meeting friends at the gym? Are there any teams to join there? Maybe swim team? That kept me busy at that age in the summers.??? I don't remember his swim skills, but mine were never the greatest. I just showed up and they taught us the strokes and stuff. Have fun at the beach. Maybe decorate his room, paint it a new color or something? Maybe start a wood project with Skip. You know most men like working with tools.
