Karate anyone?

We just watched an episode of "The Andy Griffith Show" in this episode Barney decides to learn Karate. The episode also had a domestic violence theme, extremely not politically correct and not really teaching don't fight, don't throw dishes at one another and whatever you do don't use disparaging words to describe each other.

Luckily, the kids got the Karate bug from it and no dishes have been thrown, at least not yet. We went to the library and Blake had to have a book on Martial Arts.

He read it and looked at all the pictures. Claire was to be his partner.

She has her own moves going on. Don't you worry. She is a Karate Master. (we also just watched "Kung Fu Panda"}Blake held on to his book the whole time, checking it to find all the moves.

First we do some stretches, per the book.

Then we throw Claire around the living room. What else are sisters for?


More stretches. You can never stretch enough!

Then Claire tries to throw Blake. Not successful, because Blake uses the "Cross Slide Power of Ten" move. Claire is eating this stuff up.

Grasshopper must study more!
